Gerber's Beautiful Baby Search
So if any of you watch Live with Regis and Kelly you know they do Gerber's Beautiful Baby Search contest every year. So I decide what the heck and go for it and of course the stupid site doesn't work when I uploaded a photo. First is said my image was to small which it wasn't and it was the right size... so then I go dig up another image of baby boy and their website say the image was not a valid file... arg!!! Ok so the I save image again in photoshop and it upload this time with no problems and hit submit and the stupid site says I've already enter...WHAT THE F@#K!!!
Kiddo is almost 7 months!
So my kiddo is coming up on 7 months and he can now sit up for a few minutes without help, roll over like a champ, and he's even start getting all fours like he wants to crawl soon... it's been very exciting. Though let me tell you his growth spurt and teething have been sort of a nightmare. I only say that because of the lack of sleep my husband and I were getting... not to mention baby boy was not a happy camper.
The Holidays!
Well so much has happen and the holidays have made it very hard to blog and our little guys is growing so fast. He will be 6 months in a few weeks already and we're planning to move very soon so it will be hard to keep up here but I will do my best. In the mean time:

Baby Food!
Yes we're finally there! Our little guy is now 5 months and our pediatrician said if he can almost sit up unassisted and seems interested in food we can start our son on 3 meals a day. Well we didn't start him on 3 meals a day I thought that was to much to start with but we did start giving him some baby food. We decided to skip the whole rice cereal an jump straight to sweet potatoes. I decided to make homemade baby food and it was so easy! There's a great baby food website if you are interested in making it from scratch rather then getting the premade from the supermarket.
7 weeks with no Cradle Cap and now it's back sorta
Ok so not sure why the cradle cap came back... it wasn't that bad just a little in the front by his hair line. We had a good 7 weeks with no problems so I decided to use a little head and shoulders shampoo again and it seems to be going away again. I wonder if this will be an ongoing problem for my kiddo... though I hear by the age of 2 it goes away pretty much for good. Any who my kiddo has a good head of hair at this point so it's not that noticeable but I can see it when I'm feed him I'm always staring at the top of his head, lol.
Halloween & cupcakes!
Halloween went as planned... made my graveyard cupcakes and yes I do have pictures but haven't uploaded them yet. I will set that up asap! They came out so yummy! I dressed up my little guy in a superman costume and he didn't enjoy that much, lol. It wasn't the most comfortable fabric but we got a couple photo's out of it. He was out of his costume after 20 minutes.

Ok so the holidays have been a little crazy for us and I haven't been able to blog in the past 7 weeks! Though I do have a lot to talk about but kiddo just woke up for a nap so I will have to do it tonight!

Doesn't that just sum it up for us first time mom's. Well I've been a little hard (maybe very hard) on myself not being able to do it all as a mom, wife, and trying to find work on the side. Before I gave birth, hell even before I got pregnant I tried to research as much I possible could about being a mom and raising a child so I could be as prepared as one could.
***Update on my nap extension for my little cat napper.
This an update from my previous blog entry. Ok so I try the baby whisperer methods for nap extension and it so didn't work! In fact he just cried his little head off =( --so I guess I'm back to square on with getting him to nap longer than 40-45mins.
First Trip with Baby!
So FTD and I took our first trip with our son. Let me tell you I worried so much before we had gone and it was fro nothing, lol. Our son was a perfect little angel for the most part! I was so happy he was able to sleep in a different place that wasn't home and even put up with his car seat for a couple hours at a time. We brought a lot of my son's favorite things with us and I think that helped a lot. I brought his bouncy chair so he could hang out in it while we were at the hotel.
